Springfield Seventh-day Adventist Junior Academy specializes in quality Christian education for Grades K-10. We offer an excellent Spiritual and Academic learning environment for your children. Our goal is to prepare children to be successful in this life and to prepare them to serve our Lord Jesus for this life and eternity. To achieve this goal, each teacher incorporates faith, learning, and service to others as a part of the daily curriculum. We believe in a partnership between the home, the school and the Church. Our goals are achieved when these partners unite in their commitment to excellence in academic and spiritual development.Mission Statement To bring Christ's values and character into the student's daily life. Springfield SDA Junior Academy Offers: ð Enriched Curriculum – Emphasis is placed on helping students grow in their spiritual life and to master basic reading, writing, mathematics, and thinking skills ð Low Student Teacher Ratio – Smaller groups of students helps ensure mastery of curricutlum ð Computer Technology - The school has a state-of-the-art network with high speed internet access. Each classroom is equipped with computers and internet access . Technology is integrated into curriculum where appropriate. Computer Literacy, Keyboarding, Writing, and Research skills are part of the daily learning experience. ð Health & Nutrition – Is encouraged and taught. Hot Vegetarian meals are served twice weekly. ð Character Development - commitment to development of the whole person – mentally, physically, socially, and spiritually. ð Arts\Music – Music lessons and band available to students ð Physical Education - Health and well-being are emphasized on a daily basis. Physical Education is taught daily and an extra curricular gymnastics and swimming program is available. ð Reasonable Tuition and fees - Lower cost than many private schools Accreditation Springfield Seventh-day Adventist Junior Academy is accredited by the Accrediting Association of Seventh-day Adventist Schools, Colleges and Universities through the National Council of Private School Accreditation.
